What are some of the most important natural features in Colombia?

Paramos:

The páramos are considered strategic ecosystems, especially due to their role in regulating the hydrological cycle that sustains the supply of water resources for human consumption and the development of economic activities of more than 70% of the Colombian population. These territories are also characterized by their high biotic and sociocultural richness, these circumstances and their vulnerability to climate change.

Plains:

Both the plains and the plains are the low-altitude parts of the Colombian relief that are between 0 and 1,000 meters above sea level, which is why we find the main plains in the Caribbean, the Pacific, the Orinoquia and the Amazon.

Jungle:

Covering much of northwestern Brazil and extending into Colombia, Peru and other countries in South America, the Amazon rainforest is the world's largest rainforest and is renowned for its biodiversity.
